This piece is a continuation of the study of the Flor del Sol series, where the flower travels to a different plain, growing and existing on a different Moon. If you examine it closely, you will notice the silhouette of the flower is purposely blurred, using the streaks technique, as it is peacefully resting on the Moon’s surface, almost making it seem as if it is underwater.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this panel will be donated to ArtToSaveLives, the world’s first and only private animal rescue funded entirely through art.
